pump.fun pays the coin's creator fee to the vault PDA. The vault does three things and nothing else. It rips a pack when it holds 2 SOL. It pays half of every evolution. It never touches a shiny's fees, which the shiny spends on burns itself.

The program keeps a ring of the last 256 events on chain. Older events are still on the chain as transactions; this ring is only the program's own index of them.
